My Tiny Universe is a portrait photography studio and has been taking care of Sydney’s families since 2017. We provide personal, customised service and unique heirloom products, for every taste and budget.

Maggie (Jindi) Li is the owner and principal photographer, specialising in studio lighting portraiture. She also known as the soul whisperer with a camera and is widely recognised as one of Sydney’s Best Portrait Photographers.

She is Multi-Awards Winner in many International Photo Competitions.

Brand Story of My Tiny Universe Photography

I’m Jindi Li, a portrait photographer based in Sydney, specialising in three core areas: family&kids, boudoir, and corporate headshots.

My family work focuses on capturing the genuine connection between parents and their children, preserving moments of tenderness and everyday intimacy.

My boudoir photography is centred around empowering women—creating a space where they can reconnect with their confidence, identity, and self-expression.

In my corporate work, I use light and shadow to create high-contrast portraits that reveal character. The goal is: when someone sees your image, they remember you. Something distinctive, immediate, and undeniably yours.

Each of these areas represents an important part of my life: motherhood, womanhood, and my journey as a working professional. Together, they shape the way I see and photograph people—with honesty, warmth, and intention.

My clients commission portraits from me for all different reasons; whether it be to learn something about themselves, to build confidence, to celebrate a milestone, or to document their current chapter in life.

The prevailing pattern, though, is that they are embarking on this journey for themselves or their families.

As a photographic artist, my camera is a conduit for self-discovery. It is imperative to me that I be a facilitator of self-acceptance, and self-love, while providing a safe space for my clients to be vulnerable and authentic. Each sitter is a masterpiece exactly as they are.
