As a photographer, one of the most rewarding parts of my work is witnessing the journeys of the people and businesses I photograph. Some clients come for a single session, while others become part of a much longer story. JC Legal Practice is one of those clients.
When I first met Ching in 2020, her firm was already growing steadily and her team was taking shape. While I wasn’t there for the very beginning when she started the practice on her own, I’ve had the privilege of documenting an important chapter of that journey—watching the team expand, welcoming new faces, and capturing the milestones that reflect years of hard work and vision.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of photographing Ching and her team through various stages of growth. What began as a solo practice has evolved into a thriving law firm. Today, her team occupies half a floor of their building—a remarkable achievement that reflects years of hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
Recently, I was invited back to photograph JC Legal’s 10th Anniversary Celebration. Walking into the event, I couldn’t help but reflect on how far they have come. Seeing a team of strong, capable, and passionate professionals working together was incredibly inspiring.
As someone who has documented their professional headshots, team portraits, and company milestones over the years, I feel genuinely honoured to have witnessed this growth firsthand. Photography often captures a single moment, but when you have the opportunity to photograph the same business year after year, you begin to see something much bigger—the story behind the success.
Ching’s journey is a reminder that great businesses are built one step at a time. From a solo lawyer with a vision to leading a thriving team, her story is one of perseverance, courage, and continuous growth.
